So... all went rather well yesterday.
Lots got done at the CNW pre-meeting meeting, getting details of SPAWNS hammered down and such. The actual meeting though was a bit of a bust... not many folks showed up, and in the middle of everything there was a rather embarassing immature outburst from one of the members towards the president that almost had me standing up and saying "You know, that's really inappropriate..." But... I kept my mouth shut... and uhm, the guest speaker was quick and brief, which suited his talk which was about being quick and brief in drawing. Got to even try out 9-15 second gesture pose drawing that was awesome (I'd like to try a whole hour or more of that sometime :D) ... I'll probably put that in my DevART art scraps here in a moment... Ah yes
here we go ^_^ ... But yeah, the meeting broke up early and then it was off to play time :D!
Took a bit to meet up with other folks for dinner (mmm... enchilada!), but soon after it was a zip around the corner to the club, two drinks (mmm... redrum!), two hours of dancing, and then -- a midnight showing of
Spirited Away! And I didn't fall asleep at all, what an awesome movie ^_^ ! Unfortunately though I ended up with a terrific headache and had to end the night relatively early, getting home around 3am -- perfectly sober! WTF?! lol

Brian, Jeremy, and myself, right before the season finalé of
Star Trek: The Next Generation (featuring the Borg), having a brain storming session for a home movie we were trying to make called TacoBot.
Jeremy and I both worked at Taco Bell at the time, and this was when they were in full swing to the instant food crap. Jeremy and I were always bitching about how the company had been taken over by the Borg, and so we decided we were going to make a spoof movie featuring this TacoBot (made of Taco Bell boxes and such). It was a funny concept and the Bot design came out awesome, but unfortunately it never went anywhere (nor are there any pictures of the Bot :( )...
A couple things to notice in this pic -- the mess of the studio apartment my mother and I were sharing at the time (after my sister had gotten married and moved to Santa Rosa, the duplex mom and I lived in was too expensive for just the two of us, hence the downgrade... though it was right next to the rehersal studio I practiced at with my band(s), very convienent ^_^), and the fact that after the car accident, and the loss of my glasses, I switched to contact lenses for the first time.
Uhm... yep. That's it ^_^
