Because someone said so...
I got grilled last night about neglecting this blog, eep! So let's try this again, lol
Been kind of a crazy month anyhow, the highlights being that my credit card number got swiped and used to spend a whopping $11.87 ... 0_o I mean, come on! If you're gonna rip some one off do it right >_< ! Was easy enough to call the bank though and get it straightened out, but it was just kind of mistifying...
Not soon after getting my new card though I went completely bonkers and bought a fully loaded iBook G4 laptop.... XD
Fortunately the parents came through with a random monetary gift so that now the laptop is fully paid off (and then some)... and they didn't even know about it either... really odd how some things work out (sometimes I can't help getting the feeling the fates are looking out for me... or something... )
Last weekend there was another infamous BBQ at Jack's (the last one being the Battle of the BBQs blogged about earlier), this one was mostly fun because I was able to give the laptop a workout, what with iTunes plugged into the stereo, and me running around with the digital camera taking snapshots and short AVI movies that are quite hilarious (though not nearlly as fun as documenting that war would have been) and instantly importing them and burning Jack a copy of everything onto a CD-R. The whole party though was really a send off for Jack as he's off on a road trip around the Western US, we hope he returns well and happy and ready to help out at CascadiaCon ... *suddenly remembers she needs to get him a badge >_< ! *
Last night was rather fun, got a chance to go out to the club like I haven't been able to do in a while it seems, and truely enjoy myself, AND as a bonus perk -- I don't feel too bad today because of it :D ~! Thanks again to James, Katy, Victoria, and Alysson for a fun night ^_^
Tonight will probably be a more relaxed trip to the Pocket, perhaps take the laptop for a spin around the free wi-fi from the place upstairs, and just hang out and chill. I look forward to it :)

Glad you had fun!!! Sorry I missed the pocket, but hey look! I've got internet again, if only temporary.

Someone once stole my wife's credit card. I didn't report it though...the thief was using it less than my wife did.
See now that's no good, once you let 'em have it they can set themselves up with a new identity and all kinds of nastiness that can really screw you up in the long run.
I'm scared of using my credit card. I'd rather buy in cash.
And wow! I wish I can get laptop like yours, Liriel. Waaah! :( I can only get PC laptop. I wanted to get that iBook before; the ones that look like kindergarten orange/blue with silly handle like purse.
